Saint Louis, MO - Electronics Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
Act as technical support (product specific) for all departments. Provides technical assistance to sales and engineering and analysis of returned goods. Provides data analysis and recommendations for product and packaging quality. Primary contact and supervisor of all customer service functions. Lead QC department for product recovery, samples and firmware updates.

Must Have:

  • Strong interest in Customer Electronics and what is trending in the CE space

  • Knowledge electrical component identification and inspections standards

  • Desire to lead a QC team in the warehouse

  • Some Quality Assurance experience

  • Desire to become a Quality Engineer

  • Ability to analyze a variety of data

  • Some sort of technical training

  • Organized and detailed oriented

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time

  • Desire to learn, Self-Starter

  • Ability to lift 40 lbs unassisted

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

  • Interest in new product development and new technology ideas

Daily Role:

  • 10% Product Quality Control and Analysis

  • 10% Writing product FAQs and evaluating User Manuals (IB’s)

  • 10% Staying up to date with latest CE trends

  • 10% Analysis in warehouse regarding QC department, product parts, and product returns

  • 10% Respond to customer questions and issues

  • 20% Analysis of data and support of customer service teams

  • 30% Maintaining information in various databases (UL/WERCs/ETC)

Nice to Have:

  • Engineering degree

  • Software systems experience

  • Consumer electronics or electrical operation expertise
